Gambling
Gambling is the wagering of something of value on a random event with the intent of winning something else of value. The mathematics of gambling is associated with a collection of probability applications. This mathematical concept tells us the likelihood of certain outcomes, events.
During the workshop we will discuss what gambling is. We will use basic probability concepts, such as expected value, to understand whether the casino always wins. This will help us to develop strategies for responsible gambling. At the end of the workshop you can even try how you can manage your luck in the roulette game.
